The Sash Window Workshop specialises in the sympathetic replacement of traditional timber windows and doors.  Established in 1994, we have extensive experience working on a wide range of buildings, including Victorian, Edwardian, and Georgian properties.

We offer a supply-only service across Great Britain, with an installation service for properties in London and Southern England.  We work on renovation projects, extensions, and new builds.

In addition to sash windows, we also manufacture casement windows, fixed windows, front doors, external French doors, stable doors, and bifold/sliding doors.

All our high-quality, timber windows and doors are made in large manufacturing facilities in Bracknell, Berkshire, and designed to improve energy efficiency.  We use Accoya wood, which is sustainably sourced, extremely durable and stable, and comes with a 50-year anti-rot guarantee.

The majority of our new timber windows and doors are double-glazed.  However, we can also manufacture single-glazed or heritage slim double-glazed windows and doors and comply with Conservation Area and listed building regulations when required.  Where low U-values are required, we can also use FINEO glass, which has a U-value roughly equivalent to triple glazing.

We are FSC certified and believe we were the first UK timber window company to achieve Carbon Neutral Plus status.  We are also FENSA registered, SafeContractor approved, a Which? Trusted Trader, and an Accoya approved manufacturer.
